Awesome house with great views. We came during bad weather and big wind storms but it was so peaceful watching the storms from the top floor! Couldn’t have been a more relaxing trip!

We had a great time with our family. Only complaint was that they didn’t respond to one of my questions through the application. FYI the elevator randomly resets itself at times. We didn’t know this and it freaked us out because we were on the 4th floor and realized we didn’t lock the front door. We searched the whole house to make sure no one entered. Just would’ve been nice to know ahead of time.

We had a great week at the Coral Castle. The house had everything we needed for a family of 12. I would definitely stay again!

We had a great time at our stay in Avon this weekend. The house was in a great location and was setup very nicely. House definitely needs some work done as there was some water damage and mold in the bathroom.

Your money is going toward a spot near the sound, beds, baths, a small pool, and AC. As long as you don’t expect more, and don’t mind paying equivalent to a moderate- upscale hotel room per bedroom per night for this, you’ll be fine [the week cost me more than a month’s gross salary as a hospitalist in a major city on New Jersey] . But this is not the sort of air bnb where your host is a guy the next town over who’s lending you his vacation spot- this is high- turnover beach housing. Don’t count on more than the stove and oven in the kitchen- we kept finding dirty pans, though there is a broad collection of them. One broken coffee carafe, one serviceable old fashioned mr coffee. Derelict dishwashers(high end brand, but neither had racks that would roll; lost the wheels on racks long before us). There are dishes and some surprisingly nice glasses. No grill. 7.5 baths, including one with a tv (???) but the shower handle broke (thank you maintenance guy for helping with a sort of maggyver wrench while replacement faucet being ordered). Some showers kind of moldy in corners. WiFi out for a day (no storm, just a planned update; out until 24h after we notified them). We weren’t told of the pest control guy that showed up at the door— sorry guests who come after us; he didn’t go into the bedrooms as there were several people showering at the time. Kayaks also derelict- they do float, but they are sit on top, with ripped off seats, no tow line— essentially just shaped bars of faded fiberglass. Staff pointed out to me that they *must* be usable as people have been seen to use them. Ok, but including them in the listing is like including kayaks your grandfather forgot under a algae laden dock a decade ago. If Katrina hit, I’d use them, but at the luxury price for the week, not what I would expect. Full and twin bunk beds will NOT be made. You will get one small bar of soap and 1.5 oz shampoo in possibly half the bathrooms. My 83 and 84 y o father and mother, both In their right minds, had quite a bit of trouble with the elevator entrance from the garage (maintenance man and I could work it, but it’s tricky again if you lock the door— which you should, otherwise anyone can walk in.) All that being said- the beach and sound in Avon are GORGEOUS. Even mid July, relatively sparsely used even mid day. Fantastic waves. Gorgeous sunsets, especially from the dining room of the house. It is a walk to the beach, 1.25 mi, but you can park at food lion and it’s less than 200 yards across the road, and over the dune. Rent a bike for cheap and it will be delivered! Again- picturesque beach, picturesque house, disappointing management/details for the steep price.
