Gillian's home is comfortable and well appointed. Everything was just as how it is written in the description and it looks just like the photos. The room had little extras provisioned with coffee, water, candy, and lacroix and all were unexpected and highly appreciated by a tired traveler. Gillian was careful to tell me the driveway was a little hidden but could be clearly seen from the Safeway parking lot across the street. I went to Safeway first and easily spotted the house on the hill, but I do think the driveway would be a challenge to find if I had not done that. There were little bonuses all around the property, cute sitting areas on each side of the house, large oak trees filled with birds, and even though Safeway is just across the way it feels secluded being up the hill. The back and side yard are fenced and my puppy and I spent alot of time enjoying the yard. Gillian was not home often but I'm so glad I got to meet her. I loved all her recommendations for wineries and restaurants(Park Place was my favorite), to the cute boutique shop Oak in nearby Kelseyville. I enjoyed the tiny town of Lakeport far more than I expected.

I slept wonderfully and so enjoyed cozying with a good book in this beautifully decorated room. A great little place.

It was a nice place. However our nurses allergies went haywire because of the cat. Other then that it was nice.
