Loved the house, location and the host. Falling asleep listening to the waves right outside the windows was our favorite part.

We stayed here for a week following a death in the family. Wanted to stay local to support loved ones. It was a beautiful, peaceful place to decompress and spend time with family. The benefit of having an infant was being awake for the beautiful sunrises on the Sound. Niantic has a lot to offer these days with many more restaurants and cafes than it did when I grew up in nearby old Lyme. My only advice…be sure to read the entire instruction prior to booking/starting your stay. The hosts have strict rules on number of guests allowed on site. They also only leave one kitchen trash bag and one TP roll per bathroom. There is no shampoo/conditioner, laundry detergent and other cleaning supplies were scant. We ended up having to purchase many items. This was not something I’d experienced before after at least a dozen past short-term rentals.

Beautiful location, quiet stretch of beach, lovely neighborhood. we absolutely love this spot. the circulation of fresh air from the open windows was amazing!we had an issue with a broken doorknob, but Rose was quick to offer a fix. There was a bit of dog hair left from a guest before us, but dog hair does have a way of getting everywhere and it's hard to catch it all. Overall it was a beautiful, peaceful family trip away that we will definitely repeat! thank you!

Amazing stay in Niantic, the house is very comfortable with incredible views right on the beach! Rose was very responsive and was a great host.
