Jacqui's place was a wonderful find! The house was perfect for what we needed as a big group of 7 people. Jo and Mike the onsite house caretakers were there to greet us on arrival and show us around the property. I can tell they take a lot of pride in the work they do and it shows. Everything was super clean, thoughtfully presented and as pictured in the listing. The bathrooms look a bit dated but are fully usable. The house is well equipped with everything you need and a lovely treat of breakfast was in the fridge. The beds were great and we found them comfortable. The beach and the views are what we loved the most. the pool was such a great bonus! Great couple of local spots to eat and drink too, Muri is an easy stroll down the beach. Will definitely be staying again!

Our stay at Island Bay Villas in Rarotonga was truly unforgettable! The stunning sunrises over the ocean set the perfect tone for each day. Being within walking distance to Muri's hotspots made exploring the area a breeze. Jo and Michael, the onsite hosts, were exceptional—friendly, respectful, and attentive to our needs. The air conditioning in the upstairs room and cottage was a welcome relief, although adding lockable fly screens on the doors would allow us to enjoy the refreshing breeze while keeping insects out. Despite this small suggestion, we felt incredibly spoiled during our stay. And let's not forget about that amazing CD in the collection! It added a special touch to our holiday, and we'd love to know its name so it can reminder us of our special holiday. Overall, our experience at Island Bay Villas was nothing short of magical, and we can't wait to return for another slice of paradise. Highly recommended, property description is accurate!

We had the best time, place is so roomy, we were 6 adults, 1 toddler and a baby. Restaurant right across the road, just down the road from all the shops in Muri. The Lagoon and so beautiful to sit on the deck anytime of day. Canoes at the ready and a pool out the back. Jo and Michael live on the property and are the nicest people. They took great care of us all.

We had a four night stay and enjoyed it very much. Highlights for our group was the location -- south of the main drag at Muri Beach, but easy walking distance either via the main road or the beach. Plenty of food and activity locations nearby. The location gave us good privacy and quiet atmosphere. House had lots of room to spread out. the outside pool was a nice amenity. On-site caretakers were very responsive and friendly. Issues for us included 1) AC was only provided in large bedroom on second floor, not in other two bedrooms, or in the common areas, or in the adjacent living unit, 2) no screens for doors in the common areas, so we went hand-to-hand with mosquitos for first couple of nights. Caretaker provided repellants for us, but felt we had to leave the doors open for the breeze due to the lack of AC, so it was a common disruption.
