Number 9 is a gorgeous Norfolk pebbled cottage just 150m from the sea and in the heart of Sheringham. Our luxurious 5 bedroom house has parking for 3 cars, a garden, super fast broadband (if the home office needs to travel) BBQ, beach toys - all you need for a fabulous break! Newly renovated with dreamy beds, log burners, snug, sitting room and eat in kitchen. Furry friends are welcome at £30 a dog (please add into Extra Guests when booking) under occupancy discount available upon request. Number 9 is situated on a quiet road just minutes from Sheringham town and close enough to hear the waves break on the shore - it's a good location for the 'I can see the sea' competition! A traditional Victorian cottage, Number 9 is a bit like a Tardis, with 5 bedrooms yet feeling really cosy, it caters for groups big or small and feels like home from home - or home office from home office if that’s the case! Through the wide door which allows wheelchair and buggy access, it has a lovely cosy sitting room with a log burner for the winter days, and lovely big windows for a summer breeze and watching the world go by. Newly decorated, it is calm and comfortable and the perfect place to spend family evenings or quiet relaxation. A big tv ticks the box for a film night or a quick catch up of the sport.... Next to the sitting room is the Snug with games and gadgets to suit all ages. The sofa turns into a really comfortable double bed which is perfect for anyone with mobility issues as it is next to the downstairs lavatory and wet room which has grab handles. The the working fire adds a real touch of atmosphere over a game of monopoly and really makes the sung, well, snug! The big family kitchen can seat up to 12 around the table, making entertaining easy and fun! We have a highchair to make sure the youngest guests are included and if they are a fan of plate throwing, some children's indestructible plates and cups! Fully stocked with all you could need for cooking a meal or plating up your fish and chips, the kitchen is the heart of the house. In it you'll find a washer dryer, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, oven and hob. Up onto the first floor there are 3 bedrooms, the master bedroom, The Blue Room, with a superking bed (none of our beds have footboards and they all have orthopaedic mattresses with thick, fluffy toppers to make sure you get the best nights sleep possible), private wash basin and wardrobe and drawers. This room is spacious and like all the rooms, has a calm sense of luxury. Next door is The Yellow Room, with a kingsized bed, drawers and a gentleman wardrobe, wash basin and views over the garden. The morning sun makes this room bright and warm and perfect for a lazy morning reading the paper in bed. Finally on the middle floor we have The Grey Room which ticks the box of all the little ones, as it has bunk beds!! Mums and Dads need not worry, these sturdy beds have a safety rail and a wide ladder making getting in an out of them super easy. The family bathroom is on the middle floor with a bath, sink, electric shower so you will never run out of hot water, and a lavatory. Our top floor is perfect for families with babies, but please be aware that like all of the Victorian houses in Sheringham, the stairs are STEEP. This floor is NOT suitable for the elderly or infirm. We've put baby gates on it so that the little ones can roam the house without Mum and Dad worrying that they will fall down the stairs and with a rope and bannister beachside there is plenty of support. Our top floor has a Boori sleigh cot on the landing for babies, The Black Room which is a perfect teenage den with two single beds, and our final room, The Pink Room which has a Kingsize bed, dresser and hanging rail. The top floor also has its own lavatory and sink. We've added a few things that we hope will make your stay more relaxing - shampoo, conditioner and showergel etc don't worry, its all there. The kitchen has a pantry with coffee, tea, sugar, all the basics and of course, cleaning equipment and laundry detergent. Children have their pick of books, games, toys and let's not forget the all important bucket and spades in the shed. The most frequent question we get asked is - do you have good wifi? The answer is YES! We have two smart TV's so you can log into your Netflix accounts or any of the FREEVIEW TV channels and we have Bose speakers that you can connect your own devices too should you want to.
