A beautiful camp on a quiet lake. Very clean and nicely decorated. We really enjoyed all the small details! It had everything we needed. Hope to be back during better weather so we can enjoy the lake a little more.

Gorgeous, secluded, vacation spot. The Camp is perfectly designed - cozy, thoughtfully furnished, beautiful, peaceful, and spotless. We spent the week with our 2 teenagers, swimming, kayaking and SUP with the equipment provided by our lovely hosts. The porch hangs right over the lake and it is the perfect spot for reading, watching and listening to loons and BALD EAGLES! I especially loved the screened family room for afternoon knitting and napping. The lake is so peaceful and quiet and is truly a secluded, secret slice of heaven. Matthew is the perfect host and has thought of everything to make your stay at "camp" a restful and enjoyable vacation. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway, don't hesitate, just book it. You won't be disappointed, especially if you love out of the way, off the beaten path, secluded and private hideaways. "Camp Boyd" is absolutely perfect and we can't wait to return.

5 stars! If you are looking for a peaceful, quiet getaway from your normal routine this is it. You simply will do no better. House sits on a lake w/ incredible sunrises. Kayaks and paddle boards for use as well. Great communication w/ our host Matt leading up to our visit. The property has been completely renovated both inside and out. Matt has thought of everything you will need to make your stay enjoyable. Highly recommend!

This "camp" was a piece of paradise! It is quiet, secluded, and away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The actual camp cottage is very tastefully decorated and right on the lake. It has everything you would need. Matthew was very accommodating and checked in with us to be sure we had everything we needed too. In July, the sunrise is not to be missed and the moonrise over the lake is awe-inspiring. Nature is everywhere you look-on the side of the road are amazing wildflowers in full bloom, we had hummingbird friends all week and a cute chipmunk greeted us every time we got in or out of our car. We loved kayaking on the lake and just taking in the beautiful views at all hours of the day and evening from the porch or dock. The water was so clear and calm. We would love to return again!
