I really enjoyed my stay at Anne’s place. It was quiet and cozy. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower had great water pressure and hot water. The ped mall is about a 1.5 mile walk which is easily doable, but I would highly recommend the closer restaurant hall, Dairy Market, which is halfway to the ped mall. The have a number of great restaurants and shops and a bar on top of that. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks!
I had the best stay at Anne's suite. It was very private, quiet, and spacious. 100% recommend if you visit Charlottesville!
Had a great time at Anne’s in Charlottesville! Comfy bed and conveniently located. Enjoyed a concert at John Paul Jones Arena (ubered there due to the rain) and walked to historical downtown the next day. Would definitely stay here again.

In addition to running my Airbnb, I am a mom to my five-year-old son - Jake, and I keep three Nigerian Dwarf goats as pets - Harvey, Edward, and Floyd - who I refer to affectionately as "the boys". They are great entertainers and helpful, if somewhat lazy, ecologically friendly stewards of the yard. They are also the subject of a children's book I am writing. My father bought this house on Rugby Road while he was a student at UVA in the 1960's. It was his favorite place to be and I am passionate about restoring the house and grounds as a way to honor his memory. My wonderful and talented partner, Tim has been instrumental in helping me tackle my long list of projects and improvements. We have a son, Jake, who was born in 2016.
