Had a little mix up. I didn't know that the restaurant at the venue would be closed that day which made the whole birthday plan for my girlfriend not work. i quickly organised her a birthday at another venue but and went there instead. My low stars is because these guys won't give me a refund even though i didn't stay at their place in the end. A partial refund would have been fine. I know it was my fault for not double checking whether the restaurant was open, but it seems a little mean spirited.

The grounds were gorgeous, hotel staff very friendly. We were disappointed with two single beds for our “ Queen “ bed, that was very worn down and uncomfortable. Pool was a little cold ( but stunning!) - the tv was unable to pick up most channels.

Villa Howden was a little dream escape. Felt so special being able to experience ‘Little France,’ in the heart of Hobart. The places was truly magical with the most beautiful views of surrounding nature and bay from the back entrance. It was super private and serene with beautiful french design details everywhere you looked. Our room was so spacious with beautiful linen, towels and pristine clean bathroom. All staff were super friendly and we couldn’t highly recommend this treasure enough! Thank you Villa Howden and all the beautiful staff for a wonderful stay ❤️
