Jodie's place was a hidden gem. I booked it a bit later than I originally wanted to but it worked out perfect. The views are absolutely stunning. The deck is massive and the pool was just a great added bonus. Its also far enough from town where you can have a peaceful evening while still being in walking distance of everything. The house keeper was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make me feel at home. He offered fresh fruits, cleaned my clothes every couple days and even tidied up the place. The wifi is reliable. This was a big one for me because I needed to work some mornings and that was possible. Jodie also connected me with a very kind, reliable and fairly priced taxi drive for the week that I used twice a day. All in all, the experience in Fiji was great and I am greatly appreciative of Jodie and Sullie's kindness and hospitality. Vinaka!

I’ve stayed here twice, absolutely fantastic, amazing views, great accommodation, Narend the taxi driver picked me up from the airport and is always available to take you to different places whenever needed.

Loved my stay here at Jodie’s retreat studio. The views are magnificent. I was Queen of the hill for 3 days. Did not want to leave. And handily there is a lovely woman with a menu of Indian deliciousness who delivered my order to the studio. The large deck was perfect for lounging in the sun, or shade on my computer and the pool perfect for a cool off. Handy walk to town and back, 15-20 minutes each way. Helpful housekeeper looked after me well. Hope I can come back soon!

The place is nice, good views. Jodie is very responsive. I didn’t like that they didn’t tell me there is a neighbour’s dog that comes into the house. This dog took one of my hiking shoes and I never found it :( If I would have known I would not have left my shoes outside. Also I do not like the idea of random dog walking around the house. I do not know how but I found little dead ants in my bed every day. The lady who takes care of the house told me this is because the space is quite open and out in the bush. So maybe there is not much you could do about it. The views are phenomenal though. Good if you want to stay within a walking distance to the city

Jodie has a beautiful place with really incredible views. I had one private room which is seperate from the main house and opens onto the deck. Jodie had the numbers of taxi drivers one of whom drove us around to all the sites we wanted to see - this was fantastic. The room was beautiful, clean and nicely laid out but there were some ants that they spray for and you definitely can’t walk there from town. The location is a perfect place to be if you like a small town so there is a variety of places to eat, while still having access to spectacular reefs and the jungle.
