This is a very clean and cosy mid tier Ryokan to stay in. Everything was clean and the breakfast arrangements are great! It's also walking distance to most attractions! Highly recommended for couples!

This was one of our top places in all of Japan. The inn is in a fantastic location in Kyoto in the heart of historic Gion. Just a few doors off Nene no Michi, which is one of the most famous historic streets in the area. The service was outstanding and our room was large, stylish, and comfortable. Nice mix of modern/updated but in a historic building with many traditional Japanese design elements. We loved this place and as we explored the streets of Kyoto we said many times that we hit the jackpot finding this inn.

We both right in the heart of things and just beyond the crowds. Truly special place and area to do little or lots in. We were overwhelmed by the Kyoto crowds so this area and place were a joy and blessing to return to after a day’s exploration. If you’re visiting Kyoto and want to be tucked away from the crowds stay here!!

Perfect spot in the heart of Gion. Loved everything - the bathroom was divine, as well as the courtyard area. Beds were super comfy. Everything was wonderful. Would stay again.

Due to it being our first time using the bullet train system, we arrived late to our check-in. However, the kind young man at the front desk stayed later than usual and waited for our arrival. The location is away from the main streets so it isn’t too noisy, but still not too far from the Yasaka shrine. Breakfast provided was very good quality and convenient. The ryokan was clean and beautifully prepared for us as well. Thank you again to Mr.Takuya and his wonderful team.
