Great ambience, spacious, peaceful

We paid 30K for the stay and there were no proper lights in the bathroom, towels were fewer, and we were threatened to cancel the booking if we didn't provide check-in details 2 hours before check-in time. The day prior we didn't have the network and had to rush to a place where the network was present to provide check-in details this screwed our previous day's stay. Literally, the host was money-minded and had no response even if we mentioned all these issues during the stay. Also, I left one earphone(neckband) and 2 chargers there. Still have not gotten any response even if I provided this feedback. This shows the overall terrible hospitality. I want Airbnb to take this seriously if not such hosts will misuse the platform provided to make money.

The place was beautiful. We're on a family trip and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The interior and the furniture could have been comfortable, and better. There was hot water and clean linen available. Rooms were ready & prepared. The property is placed in tea plantation with great view. The care takers were extremely helpful. The food prepared was simple but delicious. After reaching and settling down, there was no power for few hours, but caretakers helped us to move to another similar villa without much hassle. Overall, highly recommended location & property.

Property is great and well maintained. We had a great time. The chefs prepared what we asked, and it was good. Highly recommend this place for a small group with kids.

Pros: - Property is located at the center of a tea estate - beautiful location and 2 good restaurants nearby - Spacious bedrooms - Caretakers are lovely and very accommodating. - Vegetarian food, breakfast, and tea is good Cons: - Of the 5 bedrooms, only 1 bedroom has the scenic tea estate view rest of them have a garden view - For a 5 bedroom villa there is only 5 seater sofa in the living room - Bathrooms are tiny - Room heaters are not provided - Minimal menu options - You will meet their SEM Magesh - who will send you last-minute ultimatums that are not given in the house rules ex: 1) On the day before travel at 7:30 pm he asks us to upload all our id proofs else check-in will be denied - usual practice is ids are collected at the property( according to Airbnb the host should not cancel the booking without proper heads-up).2) Outside food is not allowed. 3) Room heaters are of extra charge etc Verdict: Stay was alright but definitely not value for money.
