We had a lovely stay at the barn. We appreciated the bread, croissants, butter and apple juice on arrival. The barn was spotless and extremely comfortable, making us feel at home straight away. The location was so tranquil and provided a lovely base to return to after our days out. The open views on to the sheep field were lovely. One bedroom was upstairs and the other downstairs which worked well. Hidcote Manor, Bowood House & Gardens, Laycock and Broadway were all in a reasonable distance and were great places to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our week starting at the barn and Phillipa and Steven were great hosts.

What a fabulous place! We loved it. Cosy, clean, beautifully decorated and everything you could need was provided. Thoughtful welcome gifts too! We had a brilliant time celebrating our 50th birthdays! Thank you Philippa!

We spent a lovely week at the Cart Barn in spite of the weather which was very mixed. It was our base for visiting the airshow at Fairford and then relaxing for the rest of the week with the only noise being the swallows swooping overhead. The aspect from the barn is a beautiful rural landscape and huge sky. Philippa and Steven were always around to give us information and have a chat without invading our privacy and Shrimp the dog was a welcome visitor to our patio! Definitely a place to return to with a local decent pub in Charlton for the occasional meal.

Super, relaxing weekend in an idyllic setting. Phillipa was a great host with lovely touches such as fresh bread, butter, croissants, milk etc. Even some lovely fresh flowers on the dining table. The barn is well equipped with everything clean and fresh throughout. Well equipped kitchen for comfortable meals in. Phillipa was very helpful with suggestions for local restaurants and pubs for meals out. A truly relaxing and welcoming place which we would love to visit again.

Lovely place to stay! Loved the little extras like the freshly squeezed apple juice! Felt very comfortable and homely. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for a great weekend break
