The ocean view is not great. The balcony was noisy as it was close to the street. There was water coming from the upper floor down to the balcony. The room great and comfortable bed. They don't provide coffee, just a machine.

The location was perfect, we loved Sugar Beach, the bed was super comfortable, thank goodness because there is not a comfortable place to sit in the unit. The love seat pull out bed / couch is worn & hard, the wingback chair also hard. Only 2 chairs at the dining table… the kitchen remodel is beautiful but needs some better living room furniture. Day 1 coffee pot did not work, and a cockroach was in the dishwasher, the coffee pot was replaced promptly but cockroach not addressed. I expect bugs in tropical areas so we were careful to put everything in the refrigerator. After a long day of play you want to put your feet up and relax. That was the main disappointment..The lanai needs cleaning & is very small. The building & grounds are well maintained & gorgeous, the pool a nice size & also really nice. I would go to Nani Kai Hale again just not to unit 401. I would have moved had it not been such a perfect locale, we stayed outside because the living area was so uncomfortable.
