Very nice place internally, but the external entrance was quite a surprise. It was an outside wooden staircase with two levels. Since my husband has mobility and balance problems, it would have been nice to have this in the structure description or in a photo of the entrance. The location was easy to find and the scenery was beautiful.

We have frequently used this AirBnB to stay when we visit my parents, just over the state line. Check in has always been a breeze, and the place is private and quiet. They've always been delightful about our pet, Maggie, and this trip I was able to take her for a morning stroll down the road, much to both of our delights. I think the water there is well-water, which I'm used to, but, be warned, there is a metallic smell to it that can take some getting used to in the shower and for washing face and teeth. My parents have the same, sometimes ameliorated by a water softener. The bathroom linens might need a bit of an update (more fresh towels and washcloths, and the mattress was fine for a night or two, but not great for longer than that, but otherwise, we are always thrilled with the accomodations on Oak Street!
