The place was perfectly cosy, and quiet enough for a peaceful night's sleep. Penny and Clifford are amazing hosts. Not only did they share their home with us, but they also shared a good few stories and a cheeseboard as well! Would definitely recommend for a quiet night away from the city life.

Penny and Clifford were both very welcoming and friendly. This kindness was shown by the homemade bread, lemon cake, jam and homemade marmalade that was supplied as well as milk and butter, and on our first night Penny walked with us down to the local pub, where we had great pizza! Places such as Cheddar Gorge was 30 min drive away where we had a beautiful walk as well as Frome and other national trust gardens being close by too. The cabin was warm and cosy, a pleasure to stay in. Would love to stay again sometime. Thank you so much Penny and Clifford! :)

Really wonderful and enjoyable stay with Penny. She was a great host, very responsive, warm and friendly. The cabin was super cosy and exactly what I needed after a day on my course nearby. The bread and home-made marmalade were absolutely delicious! The shower was nice with plenty of hot water. The sofa bed was surprisingly comfy. Would definitely stay here again.

Penny is a very thoughtful host, and has created a very cosy little place in the countryside. We used it as a base to spend some time in Bath (30 minute drive). She made us homemade bread and lemon drizzle cakes, plus we had our choice of milk or oat milk available when we arrived. The bed is a pullout sofa, which isn't going to work for everyone's bodies, so best to consider this before booking. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
