This lovely postcard property was absolute perfection. Homey, peaceful and relaxed comfort. The perfect sunsets shared with cocktails and family in quiet privacy. The host Mark was unbelievably helpful and quick to respond. Our favorite takeaway from this holiday was Shane the property manager. He was patient, kind, funny, like having a family member that knows allllll the things about Jamaica. We enjoyed his expertise and his company so much. His investment of time with us made our stay in Jamaica exactly what we were looking for. This stay make us want to raise our bar as Air B and B hosts. Cheers to Mark for sharing his gem of a place and finding the most magical staff.❤️

Wow!! The “Great Escape” is exactly that! Beautiful property.. plenty of space. The staff are all helpful but a HUGE shout out to Shane. From the second we arrived he made us feel at home. Food that he served was delicious and far exceeded our expectations. Every request we had was fulfilled. I can’t say enough good things! We will be back!

Mark was communicative from the start, on hand to answer any queries and offer advice. Mark’s place is absolutely gorgeous - from the pool, to the beach, to the stunning views. The pictures absolutely do not do this place justice, we were completely blown away by how beautiful the house, grounds and beach area were. My husband and I stayed for part of our honeymoon and brought some family members with us so we particularly liked the separate bedroom and bathroom on the beach. The kayaks on the beach were an absolute hit with the family and the pool was more than big enough for all of us. My family and I were lucky enough to have meals cooked by the lovely Shane and Kenesha, who were on hand to make our trip as memorable as possible. In fact, all staff at the house were incredibly friendly and welcoming. It’s safe to say this truly was a Great Escape and we are already planning our return. Thank you for such an amazing trip!

Magical is really the only way to describe The Great Escape. We loved every minute of our stay and can't wait to return. Shane was friendly and his cooking was excellent. Thank you for sharing this special place! We made memories to last a lifetime.

What a peaceful and beautiful escape. The property is amazing, from the beach and kayaks, to the pool, to the fact that you wont see a car go by for hours at a time. Mark, the homeowner, was very friendly and communicative. Shane, the house manager, was super helpful with anything we needed and made us a delicous breakfast one morning. He even arranged for a boat captain to pick us up right on our personal beach and take us to The Pelican Bar! We used the "house driver" Mark, who was great. He is a good driver and he is local which will only serve as a benefit for you. He will take you anywhere you want to go on the island. Overall, this place is great. The serenity level out here in the country is off the charts. There was a little bit of sprucing up needed when we got there but to be fair the house manager immediately addressed our concerns and we have no complaints. I would recommend staying here 100%. Everyone who was on this trip agreed that it was a great experience.
