Had a problem even at the start of my stay. This wasn’t resolved promptly but we were able to settle. Communication between the host - there was a miscommunication but he didn’t bother to resolve it before I arrived. All along I thought I could settle this between the caretaker. But the final say was from the host himself. 1. Listing itself - is not updated. All the amenities are not true at all. Number of beds, airconditioned, free breakfast and etc. 2. Price of the food - tho this one is a bit normal in Romblon. There are places where they’ll definitely overpriced you for the foods (please expect that the price range is 200-400) 3. This part is more of a tip, let the host takes care of the boat to the premise. If you would rent another boat there, you’ll be priced for 800-1000. Seldom will the boatman allows you to pay the normal price. 4. When I tried to communicate everything to the host, he asks me to leave if I wasn’t happy. How would I? I have already paid for everything and it’s a bit too late to find an accommodation and travel that far. Since I was tired of the conversation and he definitely will not give to my term which is to use the aircondition, he offered me a 20% discount of the breakfast. 5. Not sure if the host knows this but the electricity also comes off for few hours at different time of the day. Sometimes early morning or late evening. But electricity will resume eventually. 6. This is more of an additional tip also, globe and smart can be used in the location. But if you have to use your date, make sure it’s globe and only a limited area. Sometimes, both networks don’t even cover the room inside. I was the only guest at the time, but the host’s family was also there. They’re very helpful and hospitable. Don’t forget to stroll the whole premise!!! You’ll love the whole 3 coves.
