once again everything was perfect, my family had a great time, this place is wonderful very spacious living area with lots of room for the kids to run and play , Lara is a wonderful host, you cant go wrong by choosing here to stay. Ted K

We rented this cabin for a family fishing trip. The size of the cabin was large enough to hold our 10 adults comfortably! The location was wonderful with beautiful scenery and lots of wildlife. We saw 3 bears, turkeys, deer, a bald eagle and ducks! Of course we all caught lots of fish! It was a really nice and relaxing time with family! The summer temperatures did make for warm afternoons in the house, but we knew that AC units were not included. We had a great time and highly recommend this location!

We had an unforgettable week in the charming spacious cabin located virtually on a river bank with beautiful paysages of cliffs and tall forest trees. There are plenty of things to do: kayaking, swimming, tubing, hiking, or simply enjoying cool mornings and sunsets on the deck. Lewisburg is a very nice small town to visit (about 10 miles) for shopping or eating out.

Magical is the only way to describe the soaring cliffs over a mountain river. The cabin is remote and feels private. The straw bale portion of the cabin feels very rustic with two lofts, a wood stove (which is not needed in summer), and a great deck. The new addition provides a lot of sleeping options as well as a modern bath complete with washer and dryer. We did the loop, tubing around the huge bend, hiking through an abandoned railway tunnel, and then tubing back to the cabin (downhill all the way). We also enjoyed playing Dutch Blitz with huge cards out in the field. Watching people run 20 yards to place a card only to be beat out and have to return to their pile is hilarious. Access was easy with 4 wheel drive (no heavy rains recently made a difference). Another favorite with the teens was swinging out over the river on a rope and dropping in. We were 7 in number (adults and older teens) but the property could have handled many more.
