Quiet and peaceful but a little too far from Bandera for motorcycle riders. But for a peaceful weekend great get away.

This location is so serene and beautiful! The home comes with a living room, but with a view like that…we didn’t spend any time in the living room. All of our time was spend out on the patio overlooking the greenery and absorbing the oil calm breeze. The location is perfect for those who loves the outdoors and hiking. Thought the lake is low, the water recession has allowed for a great hike! We had children with us who absolutely loves the hike down to the water. I would 10000% recommend to anyone looking for a private get away. We will definitely be booking again, and hopefully sooner and more frequently.

Very nice place for a little getaway!

Nicely kept house. River was very low but enjoyable. Ample water toys available when river is higher. We really enjoyed the deck in the mornings and evenings. Only downside is the living room is fairly small but was adequate for our group. Owner was very responsive to questions.

My family and I visited Texas to see family for Easter. The hosts of this property were very responsive and answered questions I had specific to accommodating my Grama. We loved this rental unit, the surroundings are gorgeous and we spent a lot of time on the back deck. The inside was super comfy and I also loved the kitchen! We felt incredibly welcomed by the hosts who went the extra mile with so many sweet details! It was a blessing to stay in this home and to spend quality time with family!
