Wendy’s cabin was incredible. The location couldn’t have been better! We had an amazing time relaxing by the lake, I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for some escapism. Thanks again Wendy! Ewan and Sophie

We had a wonderful two nights stay at Wendy‘s place. So quite and wonderful atmosphere, awesome view on the lake and there were so many little thought through details we loved to see. Kitchen had all we needed and we enjoyed cooking outside. Just make sure you bring enough food (especially if you want to do a BBQ) as there is only a small (but quite well equipped) general store nearby. Free of charge usage of the kayaks and provided wood for the campfire was greatly appreciated too. We were sad to leave this little paradise and would absolutely recommend this place as we will remember it for a long time.

We had such a lovely and relaxing time! We booked this spot for a couples getaway and were mot disappointed. It was cozy, simple, had no service (but strong wifi for when we needed to check in at work) and a beautiful lake front view. The cabin and property are meticulously maintained, thoughtfully designed and private. Access to the water was very easy. We were even able to launch our little tin boat right from the property. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking essentials - pots, pans, bowls, plates, cutlery, sharp knives, grater, spatulas, spices - you name it. Inside the cabin had a TV with a great assortment of DVD's, extra blankets and a space heater for chilly nights. Wendy was close by and offered support where we needed it. It is easy to say we would happily rebook, and stay again.

This is a beautiful place to stay, very quiet, private, incredible views. Use of the kayaks and private lake access was indeed a bonus. Thank you, Wendy, for a very memorable experience.

The accommodation is a gem! After the first days of the road trip, the accommodation made sure that you could relax and just enjoy the time in Canada. It is incredibly quiet, comfortable and you have a lot of space. The private access to the lake is a total luxury and being able to go kayaking anytime is fantastic. Despite the partly bad weather, the accommodation was for us a place of well-being.
