Our stay at Sanjay's was a wonderful experience. Sanjay was an excellent host, assisting us with Taxis, restaurants, and recommendations for exploring the area. The house and rooms were beautiful, and relaxing. Homemade breakfast was fantastic. We particularly enjoyed the sitting room with its amazing selection of books. If only we'd had more time to linger over tea and read!

This was my first stay through Airbnb. I was bit worried and hesitant on the type of stay. But we never felt it like a paid property. We stayed here for 5 nights and each day was memorable. I am 56 and a year back 3 stents were implanted but really liked getting up the road and the stairs. Food was homemade- excellent! 3-4 loveable dogs to further add on to make the ambience cheerful! A word of caution to those who are perfectionist- please avoid this property then. Here you will get the best of the memory but not a star service. If someone can adjust it a little bit then the World is his.

One won’t expect such a quiet and serene place at the heart of Kalimpong city . We stayed for a night and loved the place , loved the Nepali food which we had as dinner .. Sanjay is a nice person and very friendly as host … look forward to stay at Arcadia again…

Calm,Serene,Tranquil & Peaceful. No matter where you come from ,or what your state of mind is , holiday , work or just a peaceful getaway, whatever , trust me you shall find happiness in this place and the people. The place is exactly how it is described in the Airbnb literature. Sanjay and his family are super hosts in the truest sense. Food is fresh ,appetizing & scrumptious. View is mesmerising ! There is a library .There is a lawn .Rooms are perfectly clean. Thank you & Grateful. Ritwik.

ARCADIA since 1955. A perfect homestay with blend of awesome old aesthetic furnitures, good food, nice music, peaceful mornings. It's a place with its own time zone. You can also get a view of kanchenjunga on certain days.
