Valerie was a very responsive host. Although she was not there at the time of my stay, her partner was and he was very welcoming. Their home is on a quiet street, yet only a 10 minute drive from Mystic. Overall, I had a very pleasant one night stay!

I was very embarrassed that I lost the room key! Valerie's partner went above and beyond, breaking the lock immediately and expressing concern that I needed access to my room and belongings. I looked in all my pockets for the key; my car, the places around my car, and all the bags/ purses I had with me. After he broke the lock we found the key on the hallway floor, so I regret not thinking of that. I felt prioritized and taken care of which was very, very nice! Another thing about this place was that there was a large bathroom with a jacuzzi jet tub, and I very much enjoyed a long soak after a rainy day. The house was an older house with quaintness and charm. The bedroom had cute little lamps with plenty natural light; it was plenty cozy for a rainy December week in Southeast Connecticut.
