Had a great stay in a lovely homely house. The view from the kitchen window is beautiful. We would thoroughly recommend as the house was perfectly situated for good hill walks, the centre of Keswick with good supermarkets and restaurants. Everything was as described and would definitely rebook in the future

Lydia's cottage is lovely and homely. With parking just at the front door. The cottage was squeaky clean and tidy . It is very well equipped. There was a welcome bottle of wine which was a nice touch.The river Greta is running behind the cottage and is beautiful. It's only a ten / fifteen minute walk to Keswick Town with all it's lovely amenities.

Perfect cottage met all our needs. Cosy, quiet and comfy beds. Easy 10 min walk into town. Lovely view from kitchen of shared courtyard and river.

Lydia's cottage was absolutely perfect for 4 people and 1 medium dog. If you didn't want to drive during your stay you didn't need to as Keswick/Derwent Water is an easy walk away down one straight road. The cottage was very clean and cozy for the four us. Beds comfortable and bedrooms lovely decorated. There was nothing we could fault other than the sun could of shone more🤣. Beautiful to cook and wash up while admiring the river flowing past out the window. There is a Spar/Shell shop almost opposite which is handy for odd bits. We had pre ordered a Asda delivery to save us shopping while there. Behind the Spar you can access the Threkland Railway which can also take you into Keswick via Fitz Park. We also walked from the cottage up Skiddaw and back a good 10 miles. So many easy accessible places from here would love to return but it appears to be fully booked for the rest of the year almost.
