The lodge was clean and warm. The welcome basket was much appreciated. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils for self catering and the free view tv worked well. Set in a beautiful, quiet location on the park. I enjoyed making friends with the little robbins. However, there was no wifi as per advertised. We were greeted by the host who informed us that the wifi should have been fixed that same day. However, it was not and she said it would now probably be tomorrow. It did not get fixed during our stay. From the comments in the visitors book it would appear that the wifi has not been working for approximately three months. Upon arriving back home, i contacted airbnb about the issue and requested a small refund. Apparetly i am not entitled to a refund as the issue was not reported to the host within 24hrs of our stay. How am i supposed to have reported the issue when i had no wifi or phone signal? And yes, as previously stated, the host was aware of there being no wifi. Quite disappointed about this as having access to wifi was a priority we looked for when booking our holiday. We will not book here again.

Absolutely fantastic little place in the nicest holiday park. Ann was really easy to contact and left a lovely welcome basket. Great to have the swimming pool right next door and loads of space for the kids to play in. The nearby falls and were a godsend in the heat we had. Will definitely be looking to book again, so many more adventures to be had. Thank you so much! Also no signal there and WiFi didn’t work but didn’t bother me, others may want to note

The accommodation was lovely and in a beautiful setting. It was very clean and we arrived to a wonderful welcome basket and flowers. The beds were extremely comfortable and the host was very accommodating and informative when asked for more information. We had a bit of an issue with no mobile signal at all and no working wifi which is not a major problem but something to be aware of. The maintenance team on site were also extremely helpful.

We adored our stay at catkin lodge. Ann was the perfect host and so kind. My partner loved the cake, hamper and birthday card. The lodge was perfectly clean and had lovely decoration. It felt cosy, safe and perfectly spacious for the 2 of us. We loved it so much we will be checking our calendars and booking to visit again as soon as the summer holidays are over. Thank you so so much for everything Ann.
