Wir waren Anfang April bei Anne in Kilmuckridge. Das Haus ist recht alt, also auch die Heizung, teilweise die Inneneinrichtung etc. Es ist zwar alt, aber das Haus war sehr sauber, als wir ankamen, und sehr gepflegt. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man so braucht. Wir sind mit 4 Kindern angereist, daher war es für uns sehr von Vorteil, eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner zu haben. Gerade, wenn man mal mit den Kids am Strand war. Die Küche war auch sehr sauber, wir konnten dort problemlos kochen. Es ist auch alles vorhanden, Mikrowelle, Gefrierschrank, .. Die Bäder waren auch sehr sauber, die Dusche nagelneu. Die Lage ist super, mit einem Supermarkt quasi direkt nebenan und dem Strand nicht weit entfernt (mit dem Auto). Der Strand in Kilmuckridge ist wunderschön! Das Haus strahlt einen unvergleichlichen Charme aus, wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und wären auch gerne länger geblieben. Anne ist sehr freundlich und es war ihr sehr wichtig, dass es uns in ihrem Haus gut geht.

Thanks again to Anne for letting us stay in her beautiful house. We felt comfortable and safe, and Anne was always friendly and quick to answer our messages. The house was clean, quiet and cosy, everything as described, with seating area outside and barbecue. As a group of friends who like to cook and bake, we missed a few pieces of kitchen equipment but managed without. We particularly loved the sunroom and used it very often. There are two supermarkets in walking distance, as well as a pub, a bar, some takeaways and cafés. Beach was beautiful both at Morriscastle and Tinnaberna. We would stay again!

As usual Anne’s place was great! The location is second to none and they are such nice hosts, I would thoroughly recommend staying here for a break in the sunny south east 🥰

Booked this house due to its proximity to Kilmuckridge village and the great ratings House is less than a minutes walk to the Centre shop at one end of the village and 4mins walk to the Spar at the other side. Anne was very welcoming on arrival and had fresh scones. Bedrooms and living area were very nice and spacious. Kitchen was spacious but a little dark with poor natural light and poor lighting in general. Dishwasher wasn’t great, could have done with more glasses (only 4 wine glasses and 2 pint glasses) and cutlery (clean but quite old) Both bathrooms are en-suite but only one has a shower which wasn’t ideal for two couples. Also the WC was missing a towel rail and toilet roll holder, pretty minor details. Shower wasn’t very powerful either. Overall we enjoyed our stay but felt we didn’t get the great value for our money.

lovely house, was perfect for a family of four. Loads of space for the kids on the wet days. Sunroom was perfect for some quiet time to read paper/book. House only 4 min drive from sandy beach. Shop only one min walk away. Good as a central base for activities in Grey Wexford etc. Dublin 90 mins away if needed.
