This villa was perfect for our group of 8! The grounds were gorgeous and location was great…walking distance to restaurants, grocery, and beaches. Communication with the host was prompt and professional. Definitely recommend!

An okay stay rescued by some excellent outdoor spaces. The house itself needs work, there were only 5 of us (full occupancy is 10) and we frequently had cold showers as the hot water appeared to run out. The pool, outdoor seating area and family living room is nice. The bedroom are okay but the bathrooms could definitely be brought up to date. The indoor kitchen is woefully inadequate, the size of your average laundry in a house of that size. Maybe wrongly bolstered by trips to America I expected the outdoor kitchen to be better equipped (it lacked a dishwasher and refrigeration) we expected to be able to cook out there however the glass on the induction hob was cracked we were assured it worked however we just kept getting an error message and the lintel about the outside fire had also fallen off. Any issues we had were dwarfed by the woefully inadequate hosting from ‘Homes In Eataly’. All the issues we mentioned were met with ‘we will improve this for the next guests’ which didn’t really help us. When we arrived there were lots of dirty and chipped cutlery, crockery and glasses so we had to put lots through the dishwasher so we had something to eat and drink from The lady who comes to clean doesn’t clean the kitchen whilst you’re there so I think there relying on guests to buy dishwasher tablets, rinse aid and to make sure everything is clean when they leave which they’re obviously not. All the chipped crockery and glasses, just needs to go in the bin. I was disappointed that there isn’t a welcome pack so as soon as we arrived we had to head straight to the supermarket to buy water. The air con in the kitchen was leaking badly. An engineer was supposed to arrive 2 days into our trip but he arrived the day before we were supposed to leave. Apparently we made the mistake of complaining to the wrong member of local Homes At Eataly staff so according to the host, Monika (who is based on the mainland) none of our issues were passed on. The major mistake we made was not immediately highlighting this all to Airbnb. Overall we felt (and now having read through all of Monika’s previous reviews) that she knows how to play the Airbnb game and once she has your money (24 hours after checkin) she cares not one jot for you as a customer. Oh and if you stay in one of their properties and it offers a private chef, be very careful. We paid €450 for the worst meal I’ve ever had on the island and I’ve been travelling there annually for close to 40 years as I am half Sardinian. I would suggest you only book with Homes In Eataly if you can guarantee your stay will be issue free and who can do that?

Amazing villa! The backyard makes you feel like you’re on your own private mountain. Super spacious and great great service! 100% recommended
