The location, the view, the warm & welcoming home.. amazing! My family and I enjoyed our stay immensely. This is the perfect place for families of all ages who want some peace and quiet. We hope to visit again in the near future!! Thank you Sylvia!

Sylvia’s pictures do not do justice to the sunsets we were able to see. We traveled into DC everyday, for a jammed packed day. Our goal was to be back in time to watch the sunset. The house was perfect. We had 5 adults and two children. Everyone had space to unwind after the hectic days in DC. Sylvia was quick to respond to any questions we had. We will 100% be back!!

Our family had a wonderful vacation at this terrific waterfront house. The view of the river is fantastic - especially at sunset. And the house itself is both beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and an inviting place to cook for our group. And Sylvia was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with.

What a magical and lovingly maintained home. Our group of seven family and friends benefitted from amazing weather during our Thanksgiving stay, enjoyed magnificent sunsets, and all the conveniences of a well-equipped and thoughtfully stocked home. The boathouse and deck were the perfect settings for sunset drinks and it was easy to imagine quiet summer days spent on and around the Potomac.

What is there to say, but AWESOME! The house was super clean, a kitchen to die for (had everything from cookware to serving dishes), a bluebook that gave great information on the house, places to go and things to do, neighbors that are friendly, and wildlife galore. All appliances were easy to use and worked as expected. Washington DC was accessible by commuter bus, 7 minutes away from catching a bus and an hour travel time. It drops you off within walking distance to all sites. Found a fantastic crab shack Captain John’s, an hour drive away. BUT it is well worth the drive. If you like seclusion, this is the place for you. Sylvia went out of her way to provide information on things that we were interested in. She was super prompt and helpful. A fantastic Hostess! I hope to be able to return again, this time with my daughters and granddaughter.
