巴思 · 民居里的独立房间 · 1室1床1.0卫 · 可住2人 · Sunny room in an artist's house
Light south-facing ground floor bedroom, which adjoins a bathroom with shower (the bathroom is just outside the room). There is a nearby door to the back yard, with one of Maine's biggest maple trees! The room is a ground-floor bedroom, but there are steps up into the house. It's accessible through the kitchen, and is fairly separate from the rest of the house. I can't provide breakfast, but you can use the kitchen. I have a friendly medium- sized dog, who you'll meet when you're here. This is the ground floor bedroom in an artist's house/studio. There is one queen-sized bed. I can't do breakfast per se, but I do make coffee, and tea is available. You're also welcome to use the kitchen if you like. Several guests have commented (with a smile) that I have "an old-time Airbnb", which is a shared room in my house instead of a commercial hotel. I enjoy meeting you all, who come to visit, and do my very best to provide a warm welcome and a comfortable room. However, as many Airbnbs come to seem more and more like hotels, I sometimes get the impression that that's what guests are expecting, and it's not exactly what I offer. My house is over 125 years old, it's lived-in, it's clean and comfortable, and I'm happy to share that with guests, some of whom have become friends - but there's more history than gleaming chrome.
David's place was the perfect spot for my girlfriend and I to finish our Maine/Acadia vacation. The space matched the description perfectly and we got to settle into a cozy bedroom for our final night. Very kind host and being greeted by the happy dog Galilea was also nice. We especially loved David's artwork on the wall! Would stay again!
David was very kind and welcoming. The room was very cozy and great to relax in after a long day of driving. Had a great cup of coffee and chat with David before hitting the road again, it was a really nice way to start my morning.
We're in a lovely quiet neighborhood on the south end of Bath, but only a 5 minute drive (or 15 minute bike ride) to downtown. There's a big back yard, and I've often seen deer in it!
We're only about a mile and a half from downtown, about a 5 minute drive, although I walk sometimes along the Kennebec River and Bath's historic neighborhoods - it's maybe an hour's walk.
