The place is a walk out basement, so please be prepared to share with another family upstairs. The whole place won’t be to yourself as the advertisement states. The fire pit advertised is a good 10 minute walk away throughout unlit woods. There are no outsider lights for your to enjoy a outdoor walk at night. The doors have no locks, so be prepared to leave your stuff unguarded. The kitchen is also very basic and the fire alarm goes off every time you cook anything since the kitchen vent is a washroom vent. The basement roof also has what looked like mould patches and leakage marks. The place is not at all outdoor friendly or a place where you can go make memories with your family. It’s over priced when you realize it’s really a low ceiling basement you would be staying in. Not recommend!

It was a lovely stay. The environment is nice and quiet. It is just you and nature. Mike is extremely friendly, and very accommodating. Would recommend who wants a quick get away from the city.

We had an amazing stay at Silver Springs! Joy and Michael were responsive to all of our questions and concerns. They dropped off bug spray which we had forgotten and also came by when we needed assistance. The place is the basement unit of the larger barn. It is spacious with a large living room/TV and the beds were comfortable. The property itself was stunning. Checking out the dock and swimming hole is a must. I highly recommend Silver Springs for a true getaway.
