*DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY* I have rented many Air B+B’s before and this was by far my worst experience. These folks are slumlords, and once they have your money, they will not communicate with you nor help you. The entire process was shady from day 1. I had to reach out to the hosts 10+ times (via email, phone, text) to even get the front door code and check-in procedures. When you contact ‘Maria’ you are immediately pushed to some Russian handler named ‘Sergei’. The house and property are disgusting and filthy, not as described nor photographed, and almost everything is broken or on its way out. I would equate this home to a frat house- sticky floors, beer all over the walls, moldy smell, trash everywhere, etc. within 4 hours of check in I reached out to the owners asking for help with the hot tub and other broken items and they simply will not respond. We rented this home and 2 others around Long Pond for a family reunion- all 3 houses were the same price, and the other 2 houses were gorgeous, while this one was a total dump. I’m telling you folks, avoid this property at all costs! Read the other reviews. Don’t say we didn’t warn you. We are actively working with Air B+B now for a refund. More details below. Primary issues: -Fire trap: No working smoke detectors on the ground floor. The (previously) hard-wired smoke detectors were ripped out of the ceilings and bare wires are just dangling from their sockets. -Structural integrity of upstairs bathroom/shower compromised: The upstairs shower/tub moves significantly when you shift your weight in it. You can see where the water is leaking through the floor. In the kitchen if you look up, you can see where the water is coming through the ceiling. You can also see where they have obviously painted over the water damage multiple times to try to cover it up. -Mold everywhere: The entire home reeks of mold and there is mold everywhere. In every bathroom, refrigerator, AC unit, etc. you can visibly see black mold. They even went to the effort to place air fresheners in every room to try to cover it up. -Major electrical issues: In total, I counted 11 outlets that do not work. For instance, on the main floor, NONE of the top outlets work. NOT ONE. On the front of the house, none of the exterior lights are operable. I even changed the lightbulbs as people were falling at night, but still nothing. Also, in the back of the home, the (leaking) hot tub is placed directly next to the main line breaker panel. -Entire property is filthy/dirty: It is apparent that they don’t care at all about cleaning/maintaining this property. It is beyond disgusting. Dirt, mold, and scum literally everywhere. For example, hair and dirt on the sheets, sinks, showers, spiderwebs all over, beer spray on most walls, some sticky substance all over the downstairs walls, etc. Outside, you will find cigs and trash all over the ground, old/broken tables, chairs, propane tanks, and grills strewn throughout, and broken glass all around. Secondary issues (interior): -Sheets: 3 beds had no sheets at all, every bed had no top sheet, and all sheets are either dirty or smelled very funky. -Towels: All towels are disgusting and either dirty or smell very funky. Also, they were all in the dryer when we arrived. -Master bed broken: As other reviewers have noted, the master bed is broken (and has been since 2019 based on reviews). -Living room couch broken: The rear of the L couch is broken so you can’t sit on it comfortably. -Bedrooms lacking basic amenities: There are no dressers, most lights don’t work, ceiling fans in some rooms don’t work, etc. -Game room: Everything is either broken or significantly damaged. Signs ripped off the walls, holes in the walls, a dead refrigerator sits in the corner, fuss ball table broken, pool table broken, bar broken, large piles of old hardwood floor piled in the corner, etc. Secondary issues (exterior): -Hot tub broken: The hot tub only gets to about 85 degrees max, is moldy and stinks, leaks everywhere, and the main control panel is broken and unreadable. -No cleaning chemicals: The host claims to provide cleaning chemicals for both the pool and hot tub (which you are expected to clean yourself) but said chemicals could not be located. -Pool: The above ground pool is a joke. The walls flex and buckle with any weight, it is dirty, and the pool heater doesn’t work. -Trash/garbage: There is trash and garbage strewn all over the property. Examples include cig butts, broken glass, old lights, 2 inoperable/dilapidated grills, 2 old/empty propane tanks, beer bottles, etc. My personal favorite discovery though was when my daughter hit a whiffle ball into the bushes (behind the pool) and we found (in the bushes) a dumping ground for old, broken, and rusted lawn furniture including an entire table, multiple chairs, etc. -Cannot swim in Long Pond: The icing on the cake to this ‘waterfront’ home though, is the fact that YOU CANNOT SWIM IN LONG POND due to bacteria levels. There are signs everywhere, yet this info was of course never disclosed.

We went for my fiancés 30th birthday. I read the reviews but booked anyways because it was near Camelback, Mount Airy, and had a hot tub. The inside just had a lot of broken things such as a bathroom cabinet that just had plywood over it, master bed mattress caves in on the corner because the slats are broken, reclining chair in living room leans to the side, etc. The house definitely needs a deep cleaning. Another thing is that there were no cleaners. This made it very difficult to wipe down tables and counters, and clean dishes. We also ran out of paper towels and toilet paper. Amenities we’re great, though. It had a hot tub, sauna, pool table, and poker table. Location was awesome.

The house was as described by both the listing and the reviews. It's great for large groups/friends and the perfect location for skiing at Camelback or if you want a small lake in the Summer. There were some minor repairs that the house can benefit from but those didn't really effect us or the type of stay we were looking for. The price, size, and location were great and there was plenty to accommodate a large group. The only issue we had was communication before the trip began. Because we were a large group there was questions about parking, number of people, kitchen supplies, how to get in, and wifi access. We did not get a response in a timely fashion and it made being the group planner more stressful because I couldn't get answers the group needed. I did not receive the usual: "here's what you need to know for your trip email" that has all the entrance/lock code info and wifi info etc. I got nervous that it wasn't a legit listing a few times because of the lack of responses to my inquiries. When the arrival day came and I still did not know how to get into the house, I called Air B and B and they told me to try calling the host. Maria answered right away and said to contact her husband. I called him, and he replied with a text. Once we had texting established, it was easy to communicate. A lot of stress could have been avoided if that had been established earlier on. Still, we enjoyed our stay and would go back next season.

The quality of the house was okay. As previous renters stated, the foosball table is still broken. One bed frame collapsed just from a guest sitting on the side. When we lifted the mattress, it was apparent that the beams were warped and someone had previously tried to fix it with a plank of wood. The frame was also missing screws. The house could definitely use some repairs. We went for a ski weekend, and the location and size of the house was perfect! The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, utensils, and plates/bowls/mugs. The hot tub and sauna were nice benefits.

Our group had a good time staying at this place for three nights. The place is by the lake near a playground which kids enjoyed so much. We were able to sit comfortably outside while having a bonfire. Hot tub was very relaxing. A sauna was also available but we were not able to use it. There was a grill which we took advantage of. The house itself is spacious with a lot of beds and very warm, no problem with the heat. The game room was the main attraction which our kids loved the most. Two dining tables accommodated all of us. Washer and dryer were useful. Just bring your own detergents. The host attended to all our inquiries promptly.
