Reaching there was a tough ride but only if you are with bikes; Taxis and car can get in-out very easily. Coming to hospitality it was out of the world owner and his family was so sweet and warm it didn't even feel you're in someone else's house to sum up people were really great. Now food. My god the food it was unexplainable. We got 4 subjis, rice, dal, ghee( Home made ) even the vegetables were home grown and the lady ( owner's sister ) They were angles when it comes to the food such a incredible taste I have been to 5 star restaurant, incredible dhaba's but there food was the highlight of the trip. I'm indebted to them for the food they served. The view was good but we were there at the time of monsoon so we were unlucky but everyone told us without the cloud the place looks heavenly. Please if you have a good mood of traveling must stay at there place it's 13km far from main Darjeeling but it's worth it. A absolutely 5star rating from us 😊

This homestay is straight out of fairy tale. The farms, gardens; and grounds are nice to rest or wonder. I enjoyed the mountain and forest trek with Sangay from the back of their house and it was a thrilling experience to step on the leaves which were moist and slippery due to frost. I also had an awesome experience of travelling in the mountain roads through thick fog and mist while riding in a car with Sangay and his friend. The entire house including the guest rooms and washrooms are clean and spacious and have modern amenities. I was served with scrumptious meals including the delectable pork momo in one dinner. Sangay, his wife Shraddha and his family and his relatives are courteous and friendly and they all took great care of me. We all together had a bonfire one night. I had a nice time with some cute, sweet, adorable kids and babies who are Sangay's niece and nephews and his own son who was about a month old at that time. I had a great time in this homestay and wish to go there again very soon.

Situated in a quaint hamlet, away from the hustle and bustle of tourist points, this homestay is perhaps the warmest place in Lamahatta. The hosts are extremely welcoming and knowledgeable and curate little walks for guests. The rooms are clean and have attached restrooms equipped with modern amenities. If you are lucky, you can spot a few barking deers over breakfast!
