I must say if you are going there you will find helpful ,well behaved great host. But there are also some glitches like washroom is outside the rooms so in night it's scary sometimes overall it's a fine place to stay.

This was the perfect cottage for our stay in Darjeeling. We are a family with 2 adults and 3 children and we stayed here during 3 days and had a wonderful time. It is a very beautiful place with great views of the mountains and very quiet and peaceful compared to Darjeeling. During our stay in India this was the best place we stayed in. Great for hikes and running. We also ate dinner that Tashis wife prepared in the evenings which was extremely good. Tashi was also very helpful in showing us around Darjeeling and Lamahata - a great guide! Highly recommend staying here when coming to Darjeeling!

This place is beautiful. Tashi bhaiyya and Daukim Didi helped us and took care of us throughout our stay. Daukim Didi is a great cook. We had an amazing time.

We stayed with Tashi and his family for two nights and had such an amazing time. Their home is in an idyllic location, Tashi is an excellent guide and took us out on lots of walks, and the home cooked food that was prepared by Pema and Dawa was the most delicious we had since we landed in India! The room was very sweet, the lovely bathroom had lots of hot water and there was great wifi. Tashi helped us so much with our onward journey to Kathmandu. We would definitely come back here again. Thank you Tashi, Dawa, Pema and Yeshi for a wonderful stay.

You will be greeted by happy faces and cute children happy to show you around. The walk through forest, tea garden and hikes would keep you happily occupied and you would keep wishing for more. Food offered is simple and delicious. The road leading to the cottage, is steep and not in the best shape and be prepared for you driver to not wish to go down! Carry your warm clothes. Sun sets early, it's advisable to be back by 5 pm. Books,notes, your friends, music would be your company thereafter (or plan anything you love for the peaceful time before sleep) The sun rises early too.. Get up early and set out! Most telephone network would be weak, but I guess you'd care least about it during your well deserved vacation. Cheers!
