We stayed for a few days to celebrate my Dad’s 80th birthday with my parents, 2 children, my sister, our husbands and our dog. It was the perfect base, near so much and glorious in the sunshine being so near the beach. The house was spacious and perfectly set up for a large group where we could be sociable around the kitchen area or find peace and quiet somewhere else. We couldn’t have picked a more suitable property and Therese was so kind, leaving a birthday card and some lovely beer for Dad who was chuffed to bits when he arrived, this was so much appreciated thank you.

What a fabulous host, and truly wonderful place. This is a superb location for families or couples wanting to enjoy a beach retreat. The amazing views and local area provides a perfect break. The house is very clean, has plenty of space and all the amenities required for a fabulous holiday. We really felt like we were at home, but with outstanding views. Therese will ensure your stay is comfortable throughout. We loved walking out the back gate, and directly strolling along the coastline during the day. We woke up each morning to watch the amazing sunrise and fascinated by the weather in the English Channel. Everyday was different, watching the wildlife and boats from the balcony, with a nice glass of wine, provided us with that relaxing feeling that we had wanted from our stay. My wife, children and I, fully recommend this property, we will be back and thank you very much.

We had a wonderful stay at the beach house celebrating a special birthday and new year. Therese kindly left some lovely treats that we all appreciated and the house looked lovely with the Christmas trees and lights. The house had plenty of space and was very comfortable for 2 families and 2 dogs with everything we needed. The view over the beach was lovely and despite the weather we managed a couple of brisk walks along the beach. Communication with Therese was great and so thoughtful to leave a gift for my husband’s birthday. Thank you we really enjoyed our weekend at the beach.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux réveillon de Noël chez Thérèse qui avait tout fait pour que nous nous sentions chez nous. Sapin et décoration de Noël, petites attentions dans toutes les pièces. La maison dispose d'un emplacement idéal, les pieds dans l'eau et à qq minutes par la route de nombreuses activité.

We absolutely loved staying her as two families for 3 nights. House is very easy to live in with everything we needed. Highly recommend and the location was so good for us! The spar across the road is great for groceries and it was perfect for us to be right on the beach. Very quiet even in summer holidays. Great sandy beach if you walk along to the right backed with dunes with beautiful flowers. Walked to Dymchurch one day, got on the small steam train to Dungeness another. Hung out at the house and just outside on the beach the rest of the time. All very much recommended! Thank you so much Therese!
