The apartment was lovely, clean and tidy, and extremely well stocked with everything one could possible need. Everything worked as it should, and we had a very nice week in it. The complex is easy to find and is lovely and private with next to no noise from anywhere !! On the occasion that we needed to speak to Jane the host, she was immediately available and quickly and easily addressed the question I had. If we're in the area in the future we would definitely look to stay here again. Thank you Jane.
We have stayed at this outstanding apartment four times now, its absolutely beautiful. Jane is a great host, answers any queries promptly. The apartment is spotless, with beautiful bedding and furnishings, all great quality. The parking is an added bonus especially at peak times, around 5 minutes walk to nearest pub, 10 minutes to the centre of Whitby, already looking for dates for our next stay. Thanks again Jane for another lovely stay.

My friend and I spent 4 nights at Jane’s apartment and we really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was spacious, very clean and we had everything we needed provided for us. It’s in a peaceful location yet only a 10 minute walk into the centre of Whitby so we felt we had the best of both worlds. Jane is an excellent host and great at communicating. She provided clear instructions and was very responsive to messages. Overall, this is a great place to stay and we hope to return to Whitby14 in the future.

Jane and her friend Ellyn love Whitby so much that they bought an apartment here to enjoy holidays and short breaks with their partners Paul & John. When they are not staying here they are happy to rent it out for holidays to other people who will appreciate the beautiful apartment they have created. They have a wonderful housekeeper Sarah who keeps the apartment sparklingly clean and has become a great friend. Jane manages the day to day enquiries and bookings and liaises with Sarah to ensure guests have a wonderful stay. Ellyn is the steadying hand on the ship and also great with our European guests as she can speak six languages (clever clogs!) We want our guests to enjoy their stay in our apartment and we do what we can to ensure this happens. We are always looking at how we can make things better and more comfortable for our guests. The current COVID19 situation has meant that we have had to revisit how we run our business and we have added what we are going to be doing to address this (in our blog at Whitby14.com )once we are allowed to once again welcome guests.
