We spent couple of days at Sheena’s cottage and we were happy with our choice. The place is peaceful and ideal base for exploring co.Wexford. The cottage is is spacious, warm and has all a family may need for a nice holiday break. We definitely recommend it.

Wir hatten wunderbare Tage in Sheenas Ferienhaus! Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, der Garten sehr gepflegt und wir haben herrlich geschlafen. Waschmaschine, Trockner, Geschirrspüler und Backofen sind vorhanden und funktionieren einwandfrei. Auch das Internet hat zuverlässig funktioniert. Abends sind wir meistens in das kleine Dorf spaziert und haben entweder im „Wheelhouse Café“ oder bei „Giorgio‘s“ gegessen. Wir waren fast täglich an einem der schönen Strände in der Umgebung. Auch der kleine Strand direkt gegenüber des Hauses ist auf jeden Fall einen Spaziergang wert. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

Sheena's cottage is a relaxing and fun place to stay, out small children loved it, as did the grown ups. The garden and access to the sea were a huge hit. Couldn't fault it for a family holiday.

Sheena's cottage by the river was very cute and unique and we (3 couples) were very comfortable there. The living area works very well and the bedrooms were lovely. The view from the picture windows looks out on the lovely gardens, the ever changing river view and the many varied estuary birds. Sitting in the garden looking across the view is very special as is being able to walk along the river edge down towards the sea. Even better if you bring your wellies. Nevilles bar in the town (15 min walk) is lovely. Plenty of places to visit - Hook Head, Mt Congreve Gardens (by ferry at Ballyhack), Tintern Abbey, Waterford Greenway, Dunbrody and many beaches nearby. We'll be back.
