Places to Visit from Cullenstown
Food
Breakfast available at the Red Door in Carrick village quiet but nice spot. Carrick also has Colfors Pub and here John Murphy runs a traditional festival every year for the past 30 years
Kilmore Quay. Local Fish & Chip shop has high quality fresh fish daily always but ques in summer so ring ahead.
Also Kehoe’s Pub across from Church also good quality fish daily.
Mary Barries In Kilmore Village, Need to book a few days in advance not cheap but great food and lovely homely old world experience.

Roches Pub in Duncannon Village, again book ahead for week ends, reasonable prices.
Lots in Wexford town. Plenty of Restaurents & Great bars
For Asian street food you cant beat Ramen.
Places to Visit.
1. Kilmore Quay has a Marina and lots of boat’s to see. Also Trip’s to the Saltees need to be booked in Advance. See on line.
2. Hook Head is about 20 minutes and has a descent Café and lighthouse tours.
3. Duncannon Beach is only Amazing- not really for a swim as when tide is out it’s a long walk to the water, but beautiful spot. In summer often Bands in bandstand and great atmosphere.
4. Fethard On Sea is a nice Village and has some Take Away’s including a Piazza take away and Grange beach is worth a look.
5. 2 beaches we have used over the years are Booley Bay and Dollar bay and these are on the road to the Hook.
6. Saltmills has the Tintern Abbey Estate with its Coffee Shop-Visiter Centre and The Wall Garden is Amazing in summer.
There is the usual main entrance into Tintern, but you can walk from the Vines pub in Saltmills up the country lane with lovely views and this brings you in the back end. A lot of beautiful forest walks.
7. Johnstown Castle.

Look out for friendly seals and colourful puffins and visit the largest bird sanctuary in Ireland on Great Saltee, the larger of the two islands.
