Hi! I'm Youki from Inaka Tourism family of Misugi village! Misugi is very beautiful, quiet and peaceful Inaka place. Inaka means the country-side in Japanese. However, Misugi is now facing at extreme depopulation problem. The population decreased by half in this 2 decades. We want to empower our village by tourism. Because tourism can connect many industries. Then, we made an organization "Inaka Tourism" which members are foresters, farmers, hunters, owners of local inn, restaurants and food trucks and local government. Once, Misugi was the old capital of Ise country. Also, Msiugi was chosen as one of the Forest Therapy Bases which forest has a healing power for human proven by scientific evidence. In addition, Misugi is famous for forestry and released the novel and movie regarding Misugi's forestry and lifestyle. Our concept is "to produce the journey to see people and lifestyle in Local". Through your stay and unique programs, you will see local people and can learn about lifestyle, history and culture of Inaka. And our vision is " we are welcoming you by whole Misugi village as one hotel".
