Wonderful stay over New Year. The villa is beautiful and a supremely comfortable place to stay. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to cook and dining and living room are very spacious. Chester village is a short walk or 2 minute drive to excellent restaurants and shops.

What a wonderful stay we had at the Villa...a Castle in the scenic confines of Chester....The grounds are gorgeous...and the home was spotless....The Italian flair led to a feeling of actually being in a far way land....Our first night we ate a local restaurant, but after that I said.."What are we doing, a gorgeous dining room with its own fireplace, and a Chef's gourmet kitchen." so we decided on take-out every night, as the comforts of this home go unmatched by any local upscale restaurant... Such beautiful memories....Vic

Our 6-person group was very comfortable at this beautiful villa. The house was absolutely spotless, and the large grounds were perfect for outdoor games. Laurence was very helpful in response to all of our questions, and even came right over with extra supplies when we ran out of paper towels. We are already looking forward to a repeat visit!

The house was beautiful! The yard was huge. Had everything we needed and more! Plenty of room inside and out for a large family. Laurence was very sweet and we took advantage of the grocery delivery for our first day. We had all the essentials there waiting for us and beautifully displayed. If you want to fish, it's a great location with Cedar Lake, CT River, and one other small river. The restaurant options weren't the best for our daughter with celiac disease, but we ate at the house 90% of the time. 25 minute drive to the ocean and 20 minutes to Walmart for some forgotten items. Besides Laurence and some friendly people in Deep River and The Hometown Market (3 minutes walking distance from house), the locals don't see all that welcoming. Maybe because where we come from, people say Hi when walking by, or excuse me, thank you, and people where I'm from don't have staring problems. Next time we stay at the beautiful Villa, we won't be venturing out much. I don't understand the mindset
