Wow! We are so happy that as a family of 8 we chose Jory’s place. Enough room to spread out and have some privacy but also plenty of room to hang out and enjoy each other’s company. The home was wonderfully appointed and my parents kept mentioning how great the house was and how it had everything we could need or want. The home is beautiful and the kitchen is to die for. Jory is extremely communicative and understanding, especially when I realized I goofed and had notifications off and missed a question of hers. I loved her binder of helpful instructions and unlike some other places you don’t have a huge list of to-dos on checkout day. I imagine this place is even more incredible in the summer when guests can take advantage of the pool but the property is gorgeous in the fall foliage and very convenient to everywhere we wanted to go in East Haddam and beyond. Despite not needing it, I thought the “I forgot” box was especially touching and thoughtful. We hope to be back very soon!

This house was an absolute gem. We had an amazing family vacation here, loved the beautiful pool, and enjoyed nearby nature at the Devil's Hopyard and Gillette Castle Park... And a delicious dinner at Gelston House nearby. A totally beautiful, charming area and a perfect place to stay. Incredibly comfortable beds and the kitchen was great for cooking!

Jory's place was beautiful and so peaceful. She had clear instructions for everything. There were labels to help locate things easily. The property is full of nature. We saw rabbits, hummingbirds, cardinals, and most of all, the pond had fishes and frogs. The pool was private and such a wonderful refreshment for the hot summer days. The house had everything you needed and anything you forgot you needed. The kitchen is beautiful and has all of the necessities plus more. We had a total of 6 guests, and there was room for everyone. The host was very responsive, even though we didn't need to bother her for anything as everything was clear. I would highly recommend Jory's home. It was lovely.
