This day was exactly what me and my little family needed for my birthday weekend. It was private it was peaceful. The host was very responsive and accommodating to all needs and very understanding. We definitely will be booking again. Can’t wait till next time.!

Our stay at Salem Woods was great. There were four of us (adults) and 2 dogs staying in Cottage 1 for 3 nights. The cottage was clean, & well stocked. The wifi worked well. We read reviews about missing tv remotes which was the case - but we were able to download the apple tv remote to our phone & it worked fine that way. The property manager was pretty responsive - we messaged them about renting some kayaks and getting firewood for the fire pit - it was a little disorganized but we ended up getting everything we needed. The coffee maker was broken but when we messaged them about it - they brought a brand new one over in just a couple hrs - very grateful for that! The staff around the property were all super friendly and helpful. There was plenty to see & do on the estate & in the surrounding towns. Restaurants, mini-golf, yoga, etc! The lake was beautiful, the indoor pool / sauna / hot tub were all awesome. Our dogs loved the walking trails & private beach access. Wonderful place!

The place was very beautiful, great for walking. The cottage that we stayed at had a huge front lawn which was great. The cabin itself was comfortable and had more then enough room for our family of 5. We were a little disappointed that the lake access wasn't private. It was a very small space dedicated to the main house and other cabins. There was a large group staying in the main house so by the time we got down there in the morning there was no space to set chairs up and swim. Our kids loved the pool but the hot tub never really got hot.... Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
