We love this place! It was our second visit. Ashley was very responsive and welcoming with a sweet treat! If you are looking for a private cozy place for some family time this is your place! We fished, swam, kayaked, and used the paddle boat! We hope to come back again when we are on the island next!

Amazingly rustic comfortable sleeping cabins and lodge area, and to boot… nice hummingbird porch area, dock, shallow swimming great for young children and Opas and omas who do not love cold water! 😊 Had a super great time, just too short!

This Airbnb is beautiful! The host is very responsive and accommodating, the pictures are accurate and location is beautiful and private, sandy beach for a long way out. the beds and linen are literally like 5 star which we weren’t expecting because the cabin is so rustic but all 16 of us were so cozy! Plus our dog was welcome here which was amazing! I would definitely recommend, we were 16 girls but I’d say it’s important to keep in mind this isn’t set up as a party house & the location is very mellow, we had a regular speaker with music and didn’t have any issues, definitely book it!! My only thing I’d say to keep an eye on is if you’re only there for one weekend like we were the check in is pretty late , 4pm and the check out was strict 10am which was pretty early to be packed and cleaned up for us gals lol 😅 - so maybe just splurge on the extra day to get the most value for your time because you’ll wish you had it anyway 🙃

An amazing property for those ready to sit back and watch the sunset. If you need hot tubs, loud music, and a party atmosphere, than this place is not for you. If you enjoy quiet, serenity, nature, and getting away from it all in a rustic old-school cottage space, then you've found the place! Our party of 16 LOVED every moment: from access to water activities like canoeing, the sandy lake bottom, to the fact the firewood is dry (unlike provincial parks) and that the property is far from the maddening crowd, everyone was pleased. Ashley was responsive to every communication, easy-going and accommodating while ensuring we enjoyed her property in a responsible and mature manner. This place is for relaxing and not partying. If you are outdoors people like us, then you found the right spot. Those planning to book, beware, pretty well everything is far away, but there's gas nearby, and a few diners and food shacks. We loved the access to nature and that it was isolated, preventing too much traffic from disturbing the peace we were all craving. Thank you Ashley!
