The Whale Tale Hale was by far the most peaceful, well-appointed, and inviting rental property I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. We were traveling with a professional chef who was extremely impressed by the kitchen. The infinity pool was a dream come true, and we spent days just watching whales from the many different comfortable porches around the property. My only complaint is that we literally canceled 90% of our plans on the Big Island since we didn’t want to leave the home…but, we definitely would do it all again the same way! Thank you, thank you for sharing your magical space for our trip.

We had the best week here and can’t recommend it highly enough! The peaceful ocean views and private neighborhood, along with so many special sitting areas to enjoy the scenery, make it A+. The house is beautifully furnished and so easy to live in with everything you need. Our kids loved the pool and everything about the house. Sophie was so helpful and had great advice when we had questions about things to do. The kitchen is fully stocked and the house has lots of pool and beach gear - just bring your swimsuit and flip flops! Also, don’t miss a snorkel or boat charter with Shaka Island Divers, shave ice at the store down the street , and a meal at Cipriano’s. This is one of our favorite Airbnbs ever. It’s a truly special property and we loved our stay!

This property in Kohala Waterfront is amazing. I have rented Airbnb's all over the U.S. and this is overall one of the best rentals we have stayed at. Pamela's communication was excellent. The property is even better than the pictures. The home is well stocked; one of the best stocked homes I have rented. The towels were a high quality and there were plenty of extra towels. The pool is awesome, we swam each day. the view is a killer. the outdoor space is a huge plus. Pamela has several floats, beach chairs etc. The neighborhood is great and was a real plus of us regarding privacy. Couple great restaurants 10 minutes away. Home is 40 minutes from the airport; 15 to 30 minutes to most of the resorts. Highly recommend this property.

This was literally the best Airbnb property and host we've ever experienced. The house was amazing, we would highly recommend it to anyone, and in fact we've already recommended it to personal friends who saw our social media posts :) First, the Airbnb pictures do not do the property justice. The views of the Kohala coast are just breathtaking from almost anywhere in the house (and especially from the pool/ lanai area). t's just an awesome, peaceful, and well equipped place to just relax and spend quality family time. Speaking of equipped, the house also is very modern in terms of it's A/V tech. You can easily connect your Spotify app & play music anywhere in the home. The kitchen is gorgeous and great for cooking. The beds all comfortable, and the entire house very clean. As far as location, you are 40 min to Kona, 10-15 min to great beaches (Hapuna), 5 min to a few food options, 1.5hrs to Hilo. Lastly, the host was incredibly responsive & helpful (almost like a concierge)

The wow factor in this home is extraordinary. The view, the pool and lanai, the comfort of the furnishings and space, the thoughtful touches throughout, and the well equipped kitchen made our stay wonderful. There are so many well designed pieces that came together in this home: the individual room AC function, the gorgeous landscaping, the interconnected sound system, the available pool toys, variety of relaxing outdoor spaces, and helpful information provided on the house and area. It was the easiest check in and check out we’ve experienced (and much appreciated)! Sophie was very responsive and helped us book our excursions. Highly recommend taking a snorkel trip with Big Island Shaka - it was the clear favorite with our crew. Mahalo!
