My second visit in only a few months. I was so enchanted by the gardens in March, that I had to come back and see them again in full bloom. Alistair and Wayne are great hosts and the cottage is comfortable and well equipped. The location is second to none. I can't wait to come back again for a third time!

I almost don’t want to give a five star review, because I don’t want to find that the cottage is fully booked next time I want to visit. And there will be several next times! The cottage is lovely, cosy and comfortable, Alistair and Wayne are fantastic hosts- welcoming and eager to help, and the location is fabulous - the gardens to wander and the beach on your doorstep. I can’t wait to get back and see the garden again as more restoration takes place and the seasons change. An absolute gem!

Fantastic get-away location, quiet & peaceful with an abundance of wildlife on the door step. The estate gardens are wonderful as is the private beach. We are looking forward to returning later in the year when the gardens are all in bloom. The owners Wayne & Alistair are lovely & were on hand for anything we needed. The work they are doing bringing this lost place back to life is incredible. The cottage is lovely & warm with a constant supply of hot water. The bed was super comfy & everything you need is there. We will definitely be back & it was hard to drag ourselves away. Highly recommend Grooms Cottage.

We had a really lovely couple of days at Groom’s Cottage. The work Wayne has done on the garden is amazing and I would love to visit again in a few years to see how far it has come along. The cottage is in a great location and we very much enjoyed our long walks along the beach with the dog.
