An absolutely lovely cottage very comfortable and clean, lots of kitchen utensils etc. wi fi and phone signal a bit hit and miss, so was very peaceful x
No mobile data signal with “Smarty”, was okay with “Vodafone” and wifi was very slow which often went down. Impossible to work from home and very frustrating experience on the whole (couldn’t plan our days on maps). The host was very irresponsible and ignored my request for a dropped pin location on maps before checkin (we had a long drive and was due to arrive after sunset). We managed to find the property using written instructions provided nonetheless. We didn’t have/need any comms after that for the whole week. 5 stars nonetheless, property was clean and charming.
We loved our stay at Beehive cottage! The cottage is very peaceful whilst also being close to local amenities and well situated to travel further afield. It is well equipped and we loved the super king size bed! We will be recommending to friends!
We had a wonderful week staying at Beehive Cottage, it really felt like a home away from home. The cottage is cosy, clean, tastefully decorated throughout and was really well equipped for all our needs, including a BBQ and garden furniture for those sunny summer evenings outside! A great location for travelling both north and south of the Camel Estuary giving you endless beaches and coastline to explore. The house is in a really quiet secluded location but is still super close to Wadebridge which was very helpful for general amenities. Parking is on the road at the top of a rather steep slope that leads down to the house, however, this didn’t bother us, or our toddler, who seemed to love the challenge of climbing the hill every day by himself! We had a lovely stay and would absolutely recommend staying at Beehive Cottage.
Beehive cottage is beautifully presented, full of character, peaceful and perfect for a relaxing stay. The kitchen is well stocked, the bed is enormous, everything was spotless, the garden is private and peaceful, and there’s plenty to do in the surrounding area. Son also found sofa bed very comfortable. Would definitely recommend
