Perfect place for two although I traveled alone. Very quiet and safe location. Close to city park, great coffee shop and microbrewery. A few blocks from a blue bike hub. Alice was very friendly and helpful in giving me tips for getting around, the local food and things to do. I hope to visit again.

Alice’s place was great - it was fun to stay in the neighborhood - Alice was very communicative and helpful. The place was super comfortable. Walking distance to the New Orleans Museum of Art and great park. Thank you!

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during our month in New Orleans. Alice went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable, really making us feel at home. She's also a wealth of information about New Orleans, the Mid-City neighborhood, and Mardi Gras! We had everything we needed to cook for ourselves and to live independently. The house was larger than our old Seattle apartment, and even though it shares a wall with Alice's side of the building we hardly ever heard her or her (very sweet) dogs. Mid City is a convenient and welcoming neighborhood. It's quiet, and only a short street car ride down to the action in the French Quarter. There's a grocery store and laundromat within walking distance, several good coffee shops (shout-out to Morning Call), and restaurants. City Park is a short walk away, and is a great place to recharge. I can't imagine staying anywhere else next time we're in New Orleans. Thank you Alice!

Alice was a truly wonderful host! Needing a place for an extended stay while looking for a permanent apartment, I can say that Alice’s place is an absolute gem. Located in the heart of Mid-City it’s walkable to a ton of restaurants, bars, the Canal streetcar, City Park and more. The apartment was well stocked, well maintained, and Alice always checked in to provide fresh towels, linens, etc. If you’re looking for a quiet, charming, well located place, this is an excellent option! Couldn’t recommend more :)
