The location is great especially for walking or using public transportation. It’s really nice to be close to Lake Ontario, High Park, and Humber River. The house is okay, nothing amazing and nothing terrible. The other guests vary in terms of noise level, how much they clean up after themselves, how much they follow the house rules, and whether they pitch in with keeping the place clean and taking out the garbage and recycling. The room is nice with the two East facing windows, futon, desk, and walk in closet. It is a basement apartment so it is quite dark and you will hear people upstairs quite a lot. I’m sure it’s fine for short term stays but I wouldn’t recommend staying here for months and months.

Book without a second thought. If it’s summer or winter have great things to do in the surrounding areas and soooooooo peaceful. Teamed with the best hospitality that even great chains can’t match :)

Vivian and Phi were great during our stay: attentive, responsive, and diligent. Their help and care made our time there a pleasant experience. Any problems or questions were solved quickly by them and they were always friendly and respectful in our interactions. The place was well located, which gave us access to nice places nearby, and the ease of transport allowed us to travel even further. A caveat if staying in the basement would be to bring some warm clothes, because the AC hits differently there and can be quite tough. We didn't have that problem while staying upstairs. Besides that, the only other thing was something out of the control of the hosts: some guests. Vivian and Phi made their rules pretty clear, but some of them were just not followed at all by other people staying there. They barely tidied up (if at all) after using the kitchen and the bathroom. We all had to do our part to keep common areas clean, but they just chose to ignore this. Hopefully this doesn't repeat.

Absolutely loved living here for a month. You’re a short distance from the subway which connects you to the rest of Toronto. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. You’re also a short way away from Humbor Bay Arch Bridge. Full loaded kitchen and the bathroom is nice. 10-10 recommend.

O quarto é exatamente como nas fotos. Tudo muito organizado, limpo e novo! Vívian foi um excelente anfitriã e me ajudou muito quanto mudei meus planos e decidi ficar mais tempo em Toronto. A casa é ótima, estive sozinha lá por um mês, porem não tem nenhum comércio próximo, o metrô fica a quase 2km de distância e existe apenas uma linha de ônibus que passa perto do local, o que não foi muito cômodo pois aos finais de semana ele passa de meia em meia hora e se você se atrasa 1 minuto, perde o ônibus e tem que esperar pelo próximo. Tive alguns pequenos problemas com relação a barulho, pois da pra ouvir tudo o que é feito na casa de cima. Tive que a acionar Vívian algumas vezes por isso, pois acabava tendo dificuldades para dormir ou acordando de madrugada. A casa tem um jardim nos fundos, onde eu possível tomar café se estiver sol.
