This place is perfect for beach lovers. Our family spent great time enjoying nature. We could watch sea lions, eagle flying above our head, it was really a great experience for us. Love this place!

James’ home was a beautiful viewed property to get some r&r and family gatherings. We all had a great time, the water was beautiful with lapping sounds. James also provide many activities in the surrounding area. Highly recommended. Thanks James for a great stay.

It would be difficult to not have an amazing stay at this light and airy home, with its incredible oceanfront location and views. But it was the extra touches that made it even more special. A welcoming bottle of wine, very well equipped kitchen, binoculars to spot the wildlife, kayaks, and even toys for the kids. Even the light switches are thoughtfully labelled. James was a warm and organised host, sending through the house manual well ahead of time, allowing an earlier check in and very quick to answer queries. Our special family holiday was all the sweeter for staying here.

We loved our stay at this Bowser beach house! It is exactly as described in the listing. The sea is always in view whether you are inside or out. Open the windows and enjoy the sounds of the waves, sea gulls, loons, etc. Watch the seals play, explore the tide pools, use binoculars to see the cruise ships across the sea, and you might see whales like we did, particularly at sunset. Deer visited the property each day; they came to eat the ripe blackberries along the driveway. We chose the central location of this home because it was our first visit to the island, and we wanted to use it as a quiet home base for our daily excursions. This was perfect for so many things to do! James has many suggestions for nearby activities, and further sights to visit. James went above and beyond to help us navigate our late arrival and ensure our stay was successful. I highly recommend this place based on James' hospitality, and the beautiful rural location. We'd love to stay again!
