Stay at Sonia’s!! Communication is excellent, the location couldn’t be better, the apt is well equipped and clean and you will love Vernazza. We’ve only been away a few hours and we miss the town and the apt already! Thank you for giving us a place to call home in Cinque Terre!

Sonia’s communication is excellent! Even though our train was late she had her employee meet us at her gelateria (as planned prior to being late)and took us to the apt. It all worked out even without cell service because Sonia was on top of it! The place is perfect. We went on fantastic hikes in the mornings and felt like we had a retreat to come back to after our adventures. It’s clean, great location and well equipped. A clothes line and pins to do a hand wash, an electric tea kettle and more. The bells chime and the birds sing in Vernazza! Stay at Sonia’s!

Please expect lots of stairs. However, because of the natural geographical location, it is hard to avoid, I think. The location was great, and the room felt homey. Thank you, Sonia!

We loved our stay at Sonia’s place! Sonia was very helpful at showing us how to get to the apartment and offered great suggestions for restaurants, as well as tips for getting around Cinque Terre. A nice and quiet location just off Vernazza’s Main Street. Was only a few minutes to the water.

Sonia was very pleasant and welcoming. Though the studio apartment was at the top of 30+ steps, it’s only a chore when checking in and Sonia actually carried one of my wife’s bags. Once you’ve moved your luggage in, you get used to traveling in and out of the apartment. If you’re in any physical shape at all, you may actually improve your condition. If your BMI is over 30, you smoke, have a lung condition, or knee problems, you may want to consider a lower unit. This unit is near the top of the building which makes it quiet with peek-a-boo views of the Castello Doria tower, which is well-worth the €2 entry fee.
