Gateway on the sea studio flat is located in the highest and amazing spot of "Sentiero Azzurro" (Blue Path) in halfway between Corniglia and Vernazza, in the center of Cinque Terre National Park, from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view on tuscany archipelago. For romantic people, for adventurous travelers wishing to explore this fantastic region on foot, or by those who simply wish a quiet retreat to unwind, The heart of Cinque Terre is the piece of paradise you need! Gateway on the sea has private parking, a wonderful terrace overlooking the sea, just above the famous Guvano beach. The Studio Flat consists of a living / sleeping room, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. Features a private terrace with outdoor shower. Gateway on the sea is a part of a building built over 400 years ago and was renovated only 1 years ago, with taste and simplicity. It is located in a strategic position both for visiting the National Park and for the unique panorama it enjoys. It can be reached from the car park via the Blue Trail, covering about 80 meters, including 25 steps. The private terrace, as you can see from the photos, is a portion of a large terrace divided into three different apartments. It has three chairs, a table and an umbrella.

The airbnb is nestled between 2 towns, both about 30 minutes walking. The trails are GORGEOUS but somewhat rigorous, lots of stairs, and was likely more complicated for us due to fresh rainfall. The hosts were amazing and so responsive! What I didn’t understand (due to language barrier on my end, no fault of the hosts at all) was that they offer free pick-up and drop-off in the town of Corniglia. This is extremely helpful because you do not want to carry your bags on those trails… There is a lovely little coffee shop right next door, we opted for take away to enjoy it from the balcony of the airbnb. The view is breathtaking! We went during the off-season and couldn’t manage to get a taxi at night, so braved the trail in the dark after enjoying dinner in Corniglia, not recommended! Be sure to plan ahead if you plan to stay in town after dark. Our only issue was the wi-fi didn’t work for us, it seemed like we needed to login and pay extra, so maybe clear that up at check-in.
Ce logement offre une vue absolument magnifique qui permet d'être au maximum dans le vécu de l'expérience des Cinque terre ! Situé au milieu d'un chemin de randonnée entre 2 villages, il faut forcément marcher et faire 1/2 randonnée pour se rendre dans un village et accéder au train. Cette spécificité n'est pas dérangeante pour nous car on adore marcher mais c'est bien de le savoir surtout pour les personnes ayant des fragilités physiques. Nous recommandons ce logement, petit bémol pour la salle de bain mais nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir pour profiter de cette vue exclusive ! Petit plus : la place de parking qui semble assez difficile à trouver aux Cinque terre !

If you park in the wrong place they could damage your car or call a tow truck to have it taken away.

We are two brothers who have lived in the Cinque Terre for 10 years. We have rebuilt two historic houses right along the Sentiero Azzurro (Sentiero Azzurro) and for some years we have rented them. We love nature, quiet life, good food and friendship.
