The great accommodation in Hoa Binh. The distance is not quite far from Hanoi, I came here in the hottest days in summer and I was happy to stay away from the cement buildings to enjoy the green, cool and fresh air. The room is arranged in a lovely way, it still keeps the Muong style in architecture but the owner set it up to full of DIY furniture, I spent my whole day with friends to refresh here. So, I will back as soon as possible! Thank you

Vân’s place is a must-visiting and must-staying place, it’s a part of an ethnic minority museum, surrounding by nature. It is like a scale of old Muong’s old village with the community house, residence houses also pagodas. The weather is a bit hot during this season, in the center of Hoa Binh was super hot, but Van’s place was cooler (less than 5 celcius degree compare to the center), thank to the great location - the property is among the woods, I did really enjoy the air while walking under the apricot and fig trees, also found a small path through bamboo garden which is like one scene in Ang Lee’s movie. The garden in rooftop that you only seen in magazine, THEY HAVE IT HERE! The morning is great for hiking, there is a hiking path up to the mountain which is right behind the museum, where I found a precious gems there: A BREATHTAKING VIEW TO THE LAKE! Vân is an incredible host, she gave me warm welcome, that make me feel like a home sweet home’ little sister. I could easily talk to her, also got recommendations of local privilege places. Her husband is an artist who having pottery workshop in the area, I found his works really interesting, which were displayed also in the room. The room is a bonus point also, it is sparkling clean, and had everything you need. It is not too hot at night as I could sleep without air con. The decoration is styling, you can easily realize that all was created by an artist. I feel like sleeping in Louvre, with many master art pieces surrounding. They serve local food in the restaurant which is not far from the shelter, the staff is so friendly and nice. Tasty foods from garden to table. There is a small stream near by where I found many figs trees, with tasty flavor fig fruits. Definitely come back to this place in my next trip.
